How to change PAN details?
The portal does not allow you to modify all the details you provide. To change PAN, you’ve to submit a fresh application using FORM GST REG – 1.
Follow the simple procedure to make changes to details provided or to change GST registration details.
When you need to change PAN details:
Apply for a fresh registration.
When you need to change details provided:
Step 1: Submit FORM GST REG – 14 (Attatch required documents)
Owner of the business can apply for the following changes.
- Mobile number, Email, and authorized signatory Address of the business and principal place/additional place
- Changes in partnership or management
(Note: Other changes will take effect immediately after the submission of application)
Step 2: Verification of the details provided. This takes a maximum of 15 days after your request.
If the information provided satisfies the requirements, the changes will reflect in the portal.
If the officer is not satisfied, he’ll send a show cause notice in FORM GST REG – 3. Proceed to the next step.
Step 3: The applicant should reply to the show cause notice in FORM GST REG – 4 within 7 days.
If the officer takes no further action, the details have been changed. If he’s not satisfied with the cause you have provided, he’ll reject your request in FORM GST REG – 5.
